Four-Color Printing

Four-color printing is an offset printing method that reproduces full-color images using cyan, magenta, and yellow (the three primary colors) along with black, based on the subtractive color mixing principle. The visual lightness of four-color prints tends to follow a near-linear response, often resulting in an excess of neutral gray components in the final printed colors.
