To change the printing plate cylinder and printing plate on an inline label flexo printing machine, follow these steps:

1. Preparation:

Ensure the machine is turned off and the power is disconnected.

Prepare the new printing plate and printing plate cylinder.

Wear appropriate safety gear.

2. Remove the Old Printing Plate:

Open the plate cylinder access door.

Loosen the clamps or fasteners securing the old printing plate.

Carefully remove the plate from the cylinder, ensuring no damage to the plate or cylinder.

3. Install the New Printing Plate:

Clean the printing plate cylinder to remove any ink or residue.

Align the new printing plate with the cylinder, ensuring it is positioned correctly.

Secure the plate using the clamps or fasteners, making sure it is tight and properly aligned.

4. Replace the Printing Plate Cylinder:

If you are replacing the entire cylinder, carefully remove the old cylinder by loosening the mounting bolts or screws.

Install the new printing plate cylinder, ensuring it is securely fastened in place and aligned with the machine’s printing system.

5. Check Alignment and Registration:

Before starting the machine, verify the plate is correctly aligned and positioned.

Adjust the registration settings if needed to ensure proper print alignment.

6. Test Run:

Turn the machine back on and conduct a short test run to check for any printing defects or misalignments.

Make adjustments if necessary.

These steps should allow for an efficient plate change, ensuring optimal print quality.
